Webinar Recap: Vaca Muerta Frontiers
As part of our virtual engagement efforts, the IAPG Houston hosted a technical webinar focused on sharing data-driven insights into Vaca Muerta and the evolution of this world-class play. During an engaging presentation, Manuel Fantina, Executive Director at Synergies, and Lucas Santimoteo, Managing Director at Synergies, shared their extensive experience and perspectives on the development of the Vaca Muerta formation.
Drawing on an integrated analysis of subsurface characteristics, production data, and well performance, the speakers highlighted the key trends that have shaped the play’s evolution, as well as opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and expand activity into less-developed areas.
They also discussed the significant upside potential of emerging zones within Vaca Muerta, along with the remaining risks these areas present for upstream operators.
