Argentina Offshore Round 1 will be launched officially in July 2018 for bidding in November 2018. The Round will include blocks in the Austral Basin, Malvinas West Basin and the Argentina North Basin. The Argentine Continental Platforms is very large and unexplored in most of its surface, giving a great opportunity through very competitive conditions to take advantage of this first Round launched by the country.

Petroleum Engineer from the Technological Institute of Buenos Aires (ITBA), has worked in the industry for 25 years in companies like Total (16 years – Planning and Development Manager of Total in Argentina), Americas Petrogas (Canadian company focused in Vaca Muerta and Conventional Exploration as Planning and Reservoir Manager for 4 years) and Medanito (Argentine independent as Strategic Planning Manager for 3 years). Working for Total he worked 7 years in Total’s main office in Paris, as Reservoir Engineer, Project Evaluator, Planning and Development Engineer, and New Ventures Coordinator, having experience in countries like Qatar, Russia, Gabon, Syria, Abu Dhabi, Algeria, Yemen, Canada, Mexico, and all South American countries.
