Webinar Recap: One Year After RIGI
The IAPG Houston proudly hosted the webinar “One Year After RIGI”. The session was a tremendous success: timely, insightful, and rich with first-hand perspectives on the key projects unlocked by the new incentive scheme. The event served as an update to last year’s webinar “Ley de Bases and RIGI: What We Know So Far.”
Moderated by our past-President Joe Amador, the discussion explored how the regulation has evolved, the opportunities it has opened, and the uncertainties it has helped resolve.
Mariana Guzian, Partner at Nicholson y Cano Abogados, provided a clear overview of the RIGI framework and its final enactment. Marcos Pourteau and Francisco Villamil showcased how the new regulation has enabled Argentina’s first LNG export projects and the country’s largest oil export pipeline.
