On September 29, the IAPGH, jointly with the IAPG Argentina, held the 3rd Argentina Shale Day, this time entitled “Vaca Muerta: Challenges and opportunities beyond the current energy context.”
We were very pleased to host a top group of representatives from the key upstream and midstream operators in the Vaca Muerta play. Omar Gutierrez, Governor of the Province of Neuquén, spoke about the continued investments and corresponding increases in production by the operators. Executives from these companies shared their latest advancements and learnings from the Vaca Muerta play, including investments, production levels, applied technologies, infrastructure, services, and workforce.
Over 140 participants from Argentina, Houston, and elsewhere filled the venue at The Houstonian Hotel, generating interesting dialogues with the speakers, with plenty of discussions surrounding markets and the macro environment.
A very special thanks to our sponsors and our partner – the IAPG Argentina – who made this edition of the highly successful event possible. We are already looking forward to the 4th edition!
