IAPG Houston Annual Meeting

On July 28th the IAPG Houston held its Annual Meeting at the Houstonian hotel. The outgoing President, Mr. Andres Weissfeld, gave an overview of the achievements of the 2021-22 period, which coincided with the 20th anniversary of the organization. 

It has been a momentous year in terms of scholarships awarded. With the implementation of the cooperation agreement with Fulbright, a record total of 7 scholarships were awarded during the period. 

The IAPG Houston hosted several events during the past year, highlighting the industry breakfast with Neuquén Governor, Mr. Omar Gutierrez, where a technical cooperation agreement was signed, plus other events during the OTC and a working session with the American Chamber of Commerce. A special celebration was held for the 20th anniversary, where special awards were given to two of the founding members, Mr. Claudio Manzolillo and Mr. Héctor Cornelio.

The steady support from our sponsors continued during the year with new additions to the roster of Majors, Argentine and international oil & gas companies.

Finally, the slate of Directors was elected for the 2022-2023 period. The new President will be Mr. Emilio Acin Daneri and Vice President will be Mrs. Maria Miná.
