The IAPG Houston held its Annual Year-End Cocktail at the Doubletree Hotel in Houston, providing a memorable conclusion to 2024. This year, our organization remained steadfast in its mission, delivering a range of impactful events, informative webinars, and our flagship scholarship programs.
Some of these high-profile events in 2024 included:
- Breakfast with Horacio Marin, CEO at YPF
- Project Andes roadshow, presented by Max Westen VP of Strategy at YPF
- Vaca Muerta Shale Day
- Webinar on subsurface analogies between West Africa and South America’s Atlantic margins
- Webinar on EOR’s potential in Argentina
- Webinar on emissions reduction in Vaca Muerta leveraging stranded gas currents to enable advanced computing
- Award of the Claudio Manzolillo scholarships
- Networking events with Argentine young professionals
In a spirit of camaraderie, IAPG Houston members, the Board of Directors, young professionals, and students came together to celebrate achievements, foster collaboration, and share ideas for the year ahead. The event concluded with our traditional raffle, offering festive treats such as drinks, chocolates, and even flights for the upcoming holiday season.
A heartfelt thank you to our corporate sponsors who have supported IAPG Houston throughout 2024. We’d also like to extend a special thank you to United Airlines for their ongoing support, generously donating two return tickets to Argentina for our raffle.
Last, but certainly not least, we extend our sincere appreciation to IAPG, our sister organization, with whom we have had the pleasure of collaborating throughout the year.
We look forward to reconnecting in 2025 – stay tuned for another exciting year!
