On September 21st, we hosted a luncheon featuring Argentine President Dr. Alberto Fernández with a full house, including top representatives from the major companies operating in the Vaca Muerta play.
IAPG Houston president Emilio Acin Daneri welcomed the President and the senior cabinet members who accompanied him. Argentina’s Ambassador to the US, the Hon. Jorge Argüello provided the introduction to President Fernández, who spoke about the importance of continuing with the development of the Vaca Muerta play, as well as the plentiful renewable energy and vast lithium resources in the country. Mr. Fernandez expressed the unwavering commitment from his government towards investments in Vaca Muerta. Attendees were later able to mingle with President Fernandez and the other government officials.
The event was open to journalists from several Argentine and international news organizations, who attended a press conference immediately after the event.
