Project Management 101: Understanding Hard & Soft Skills in Successful Projects
In this 30-minute webinar, we will explore the basic building blocks required to manage a project: both HARD and SOFT skills. HARD skills (or technical skills) will include two main concepts: product vs project life cycle and the project management plan (or project execution plan), and how they apply in the oil and gas industry. SOFT skills (or people skills) will be presented in terms of character and personality skills (ethic models), with emphasis on the character (what you are) instead of personality (the way you act). A triple constraint will also be presented for soft skills, where a balance is required to manage conflict.
